Fraser Valley Eagles

Fraser Valley Elementary (FVE) is located five miles north of the Winter Park Ski Area at an altitude of 8500 feet in the town of Fraser.   Two hundred and sixty-five students are enrolled in kindergarten through fifth grade. Families that reside from just north of the Y.M.C.A. at Snow Mountain Ranch on Red Dirt Hill and south to the summit of Berthoud Pass on U.S. 40 are within the school attendance boundaries.   The school district has an open enrollment policy so the parent residential and occupational location and the child's educational needs are honored if classroom space is available. The Fraser Valley attempts to staff 1 classroom teacher to 17 students in the primary and intermediate grades.   The school has been recognized for its high academic expectations and received the John Erwin Colorado School of Excellence Award in 1994 and 2002.   The school's mission is to develop children that can become lifelong thinkers and learners.

Welcome To The Home Of The Eagles

A letter to students from the staff:   We believe in you.   We are sure you can handle life's situations.   We understand that not all the decisions you make will be perfect.   We believe that you will learn great lessons by weighing consequences with the decisions you make.   You are important to us.   We trust you!
