We're very excited to announce that Salad Bars to Schools has agreed to help EGSD Food Service obtain funds for salad bars at both Granby Elementary and Fraser Valley Elementary! Salad Bars to Schools is a non-profit organization that combines funds from private and corporate donations to provide salad bars to schools so every child has daily access to fresh fruits and vegetables.

How can you help? By going to http://www.saladbars2schools.org/grant/east-grand-school-district/ and making a tax-deductible donation to help us reach our goal faster!

Because we know that healthy students perform at a higher level, we serve our students wholesome, healthy, and delicious meals to fuel and nourish their growing minds and bodies. With the support of our community, customers, and school district, this initiative will help us provide more fresh offerings every day!

EGSD Hiring Bus Operators

The EGSD office will be open from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Mondays - Thursdays during summer break. We will be closed July 5th for Independence Day. The office will return to normal business hours August 9th.

East Grand School district evaluates the performance levels of all teaching and administrative staff as well as guidance counselors and school nurse by using the adopted State Model Of Evaluation. East Grand is meeting all of the required elements of a local evaluation system with the use of the State Model of Evaluation an example of which can be viewed by clicking this message and at the educator effectiveness website.

EGSD has received notification from the CO. Department of Education that we have received a rating of "Accredited." This is the second highest rating the state recognizes. Each of the 4 schools in the district have a rating of "Performance", the highest rating a school can have. Congratulations to all of the schools, staff, students, parents and community. Our good work is paying off!

EGSD Continues to Earn High Ratings

Congratulations on every school achieving "Performance" level on the School Performance Frameworks. A minimum score of 53% is required for this rating. Fraser Valley scored 77.1%, Granby Elementary scored 65%, Middle Park High School scored 60.5%, and East Grand Middle School scored 96.3%.

East Grand Middle School's score puts them in the top 1% of schools in the state

Schools Score Well on State Performance Frameworks

This is a unique program for ski and snowboard athletes who want to take their sport to the next level. It is offered to students in 7th grade through 12th grade. These athletes have a modified schedule in the winter months, where they take their core classes in the morning and are on snow in the afternoons.

The following disciplines are available: Freeski Park and Pipe, Alpine Racing, Freestyle Skiing, Big Mountain Skiing, Snowboard and Nordic Skiing.
